Job Summary

The position of Account Manager is primarily responsible for identifying and driving new business opportunities building long-term partnerships and providing clients with innovative solutions that are tailored specifically to their business needs. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain trusted relationships with clients to determine their existing and future business needs
  • Understand the clients objectives buying criteria and decision making process and form long-term business partnerships
  • Actively and successfully manage the sales process from start to finish including managing and maintaining your sales pipeline ensuring all sales enquiries are followed through
  • Identify and grow opportunities and collaborate with wider sales team to ensure maximum growth
  • Present innovative business solutions to potential clients through direct communication i.e. face to face meetings telephone calls and/or via email
  • Ensure reporting is up to date and accurate (meetings calls opportunities etc)
  • Attending industry events; tradeshows and networking nights to aid in the development of new business revenue
  • Support sales and marketing initiatives to drive sales
  • Accuracy of reporting and forecasting

Qualifications :

  • Experience working in a high paced sales environment
  • Experience selling I.T and appliances
  • Experience in Microsoft Office (high beneficial)
  • Exceptional Sales skills with a proven track record
  • Strong leadership skills the ability to engage mentor and motivate
  • Excellent communication presentation and negotiation skills
  • Client focused i.e. committed to delivering innovative solutions that are tailored specifically to clients business needs
  • Excellent customer/stakeholder engagement skills
  • Financial knowledge and business acumen
  • Highly motivated with ability to work as part of a team
  • Competent computer skills
  • Current Drivers License
