The position of Account Manager is primarily responsible for identifying and driving new business opportunities building long-term partnerships and providing clients with innovative solutions that are tailored specifically to their business needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain trusted relationships with clients to determine their existing and future business needs
- Understand the clients objectives buying criteria and decision making process and form long-term business partnerships
- Actively and successfully manage the sales process from start to finish including managing and maintaining your sales pipeline ensuring all sales enquiries are followed through
- Identify and grow opportunities and collaborate with wider sales team to ensure maximum growth
- Present innovative business solutions to potential clients through direct communication i.e. face to face meetings telephone calls and/or via email
- Ensure reporting is up to date and accurate (meetings calls opportunities etc)
- Attending industry events; tradeshows and networking nights to aid in the development of new business revenue
- Support sales and marketing initiatives to drive sales
- Accuracy of reporting and forecasting
Qualifications :
- Experience working in a high paced sales environment
- Experience selling I.T and appliances
- Experience in Microsoft Office (high beneficial)
- Exceptional Sales skills with a proven track record
- Strong leadership skills the ability to engage mentor and motivate
- Excellent communication presentation and negotiation skills
- Client focused i.e. committed to delivering innovative solutions that are tailored specifically to clients business needs
- Excellent customer/stakeholder engagement skills
- Financial knowledge and business acumen
- Highly motivated with ability to work as part of a team
- Competent computer skills
- Current Drivers License
