Job Summary
JOB DETAILS
Base pay starts at $16.25 per hour.
Shift: 6:00 am- 2:30 pm with opportunities for Overtime
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is responsible for roll forming and unloading panel line operation. The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of production techniques great attention to detail and a dedication to safety. Overtime is anticipated with this full-time direct hire opportunity.
- Moving product with an overhead crane from the production line to a storage location.
- Use a forklift to move materials where needed.
- Ability to read and comprehend documents including but not limited to policy manuals safety rules/programs operating and maintenance instructions procedure manuals and simple correspondence
- In addition the ability to communicate information effectively one-on-one and in small group situations and settings is required
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to perform work instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form a addition the ability to solve problems which involve multiple variables in a standard situation is required
- Ability to work effectively to meet deadlines
- Ability to work with a diversified work force
- Be willing to cross train and be promotable
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- A minimum of one year of related work experience in manufacturing or comparable work environment
- Experience with forklift and/or overhead crane operation preferred
- Comfort and familiarity with power hand tools
- Willingness to train certify and operate forklift and overhead crane
- Ability to work effectively to meet deadlines
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- General mathematical knowledge and proficiency with basic measuring instruments
