Job Summary
This is a unique opportunity for a Live-in Direct Support Professional (DSP). You would be required to live with our person served. Here are a few perks to consider!
- Live-In DSPs are provided a studio space with room and board at no cost!
- Live-In DSPs would have their own separate living quarters within the home.
- You do have the ability to view your living quarters prior to move in contract completion.
- Your family may be allowed to move into the quarters with you!
- Hours worked would be part-time including asleep overnight shifts
- Paid hours are $18.50 hr. and would include awake hours only (avg. 25 hours weekly)
- Additional work hours are available if interested!
Working directly as a Live-in DSP care provider you will be assisting in providing support services and assistance to individuals in their homes. Candidates will have a desire to create lasting positive impacts on peoples lives and enjoy coaching mentoring and encouraging others to reach their goals.
Qualifications :
What You Bring to the Table:
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Passion for Helping Others
- Physical stamina to stay on your feet walk stand and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Basic computer skills for tracking progress and documentation.
- Good communication is key in this role. Youll rely on your reading writing and communication skills to document care follow support plans and collaborate with both internal and external team members
