Job Summary

  • Food Preparation  prepare and cook dishes according to the recipes and standards set by the Head Chef; ensuring food safety standards are adhered to at all time. Bereiden en koken van gerechten volgens de recepten en normen opgesteld door de Head Chef met strikte naleving van voedselveiligheidsnormen.
  • Station Management  oversee the production of all dishes assigned to your station and upkeep your designated area with supplies and ensuring cleanliness in line with policies and procedures. Toezicht houden op de productie van alle gerechten op jouw station zorgen voor voldoende voorraad en naleving van schoonmaakprocedures.
  • Quality Control  maintain high quality standards for all dishes ensuring presentation and taste is considered at all times. Handhaven van hoge kwaliteitsnormen voor alle gerechten waarbij smaak en presentatie prioriteit hebben.
  • Team Collaboration  communicate positively and effectively with all other team members and assist/support all colleagues where necessary. Coaching of junior chefs to support development. Positief en effectief communiceren met teamleden en ondersteuning bieden aan collegas waar nodig. Coachen van junior chefs om hun ontwikkeling te bevorderen.
  • Menu Development  collaborate with head chef to develop and taste new recipes providing suggestions for improvement or innovation. Samenwerken met de Head Chef om nieuwe recepten te ontwikkelen en te proeven en suggesties doen voor verbeteringen of innovaties.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance  maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen including your designated area ensuring equipment is in good working order. Zorgen voor netheid en organisatie in de keuken inclusief jouw toegewezen station en ervoor zorgen dat apparatuur in goede staat verkeert.

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience working as a Commis Chef/Sous Chef or similar role. Aantoonbare ervaring als Commis Chef/Souschef of een vergelijkbare functie.
  • Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines. Kennis van diverse kooktechnieken en keukens.
  • Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices. Sterk begrip van voedselveiligheid en hygiënepraktijken.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced high-pressure environment. Vermogen om te werken in een snelle en drukke omgeving.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Uitstekende aandacht voor detail en organisatorische vaardigheden.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Sterke communicatievaardigheden en teamgeest.

  • Available from Monday to Friday (office hours) and flexible for events. Beschikbaar van maandag tot en met vrijdag (kantoortijden) en flexibel voor evenementen.
