The Cloud Managed Services Platform Administration team is seeking a Senior SAS Administrator to support operate and enhance critical SAS environments for corporate customers. Our team is passionate about technology and works on challenging high-impact projects with global clients in finance healthcare and retail.

As a Sr Cloud Platform Administrator you will:
- Administer SAS Viya and SAS 9.4 environments in both cloud and on-premises settings.
- Perform installation configuration patching and upgrades of SAS platforms.
- Monitor troubleshoot and tune performance (Linux Kubernetes CAS Grid).
- Ensure security and compliance by managing access auditing and encryption policies.
- Collaborate with engineering security and customer teams to evolve architecture and best practices.
- Support SAS 9 to Viya migrations integrating with Cloud tools (Azure AWS GCP).
- Be encouraged to participate in open-source projects on behalf of SAS.
- Ensure all applicable security policies and processes are followed to support the organizations secure software development goals.

Required qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience in SAS platform administration (9.4 and/or Viya).
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Systems or related field.
- Solid experience with Linux/Unix Kubernetes containers and databases (Oracle/SQL Server/Postgres).
- Knowledge of networking troubleshooting and information security in corporate environments.
- Technical English proficiency for reading and communication with global teams.
- Equivalent combination of related education training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
Additional competencies knowledge and skills
- Problem-solving ability to diagnose and resolve complex incidents.
- Collaboration ability to work in cross-functional teams across time zones.
- Adaptability eagerness to learn new technologies and operate in dynamic environments.
- Preferred experience with public cloud (Azure AWS or GCP).
- Preferred experience with automation and scripting (Python Shell Ansible).
- SAS or Cloud certifications are a strong plus.
