Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Automation & Management
• Maintain and enhance Ansible Automation Platform ensuring reliability and scalability.
• Design implement and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform across AWS Azure GCP and VMware environments.
• Automate cloud provisioning configuration deployment and monitoring processes to improve efficiency and minimize manual tasks.
• Process Management & Documentation
• Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks for configuration management and system automation.
• Build and maintain Terraform modules to standardize infrastructure deployments.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure architecture processes and operational procedures.
• Ensure all automation and infrastructure practices comply with cloud security governance and compliance standards.
• Service Delivery & Collaboration
• Collaborate closely with DevOps Security and Application teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with performance security and scalability goals.
• Participate in after-hours deployments and incident response activities as required.
• Provide technical leadership guidance and support to team members promoting best practices in cloud automation and infrastructure as code (IaC).

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in cloud engineering and/or DevOps roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Ansible and Terraform in production environments.
• Hands on experience with best practices of version control system (git azure devops etc) and branching strategy
• Proficiency in at least one major cloud platform (GCP AWS or Azure).
• Good understanding of networking security database concepts and cloud architecture principles.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (eg: Azure DevOps Bamboo or GitHub Actions).
• Scripting skills in Python Bash or PowerShell.
• AWS SSM is an advantage.
• Familiarity with containerization (Kubernetes Docker) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills applying strong analysis and troubleshooting skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Commitment to continuous improvement with the ability to extract insights from data to make recommendations to enhance efficiencies and reduce manual intervention.
• Ability to work independently to deliver project workstreams
