Are you a creative and innovative Food Technology Teacher with a passion for teaching practical skills and inspiring students to explore nutrition cooking and food science
A forward-thinking secondary school in Bournemouth is seeking a Food Technology Teacher to join its thriving Design & Technology faculty on a full-time permanent basis from January 2026. You will teach Food Technology across KS3KS5 helping students develop skills in culinary practice food safety and nutritional analysis while encouraging creativity and teamwork.

Salary: MPS/UPS (based on experience)
About the School
This 1118 mixed academy educates approximately 1200 pupils including a Sixth Form of 280. The Food Technology Department is based in a purpose-built wing of the school with professional-standard kitchens featuring individual student workstations commercial ovens mixers and food science labs for nutritional experiments. Your Role:
Deliver high-quality Food Technology lessons across KS3KS5.

The Ideal Candidate Will:
Hold a degree in Food Technology or a related subject.
Have QTS (PGCE or equivalent).
Be confident teaching Food Technology at KS4 and KS5.
Show creativity practical knowledge and strong classroom presence.
Have the legal right to work in the UK.
