Job Description
Are you an ambitious Science Teacher with the drive to inspire students and contribute to one of the Souths leading schools
A high-achieving secondary school in Southampton is looking for a Science Teacher to join its thriving Science Department from January 2026. This is a full-time permanent role teaching general Science across KS3KS5 with the opportunity to specialise at A-level depending on your expertise.

Salary: MPS/UPS (based on experience)

Your Role:
Deliver high-quality Science lessons across KS3KS5.
Inspire curiosity and foster independent learning.
Support enrichment such as STEM societies clubs and trips.
Monitor student progress and provide effective interventions.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Hold a degree in Science or a related field.
Have QTS (PGCE or equivalent).
Be confident teaching Science at KS4 and ideally KS5.
Demonstrate enthusiasm for practical hands-on science education.
Have the legal right to work in the UK.
