Our client a leading workplace law and advocacy firm in Western Canada is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Immigration Paralegal to join their team. This role provides the opportunity to work closely with an immigration lawyer on a variety of client matters supporting individuals and businesses with their immigration needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare draft and review immigration applications submissions and supporting documents.
- Manage and monitor client files ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements and firm procedures.
- Liaise with clients government agencies and internal stakeholders regarding applications and supporting documentation.
- Conduct research on immigration regulations policies and precedents.
- Track application deadlines and maintain up-to-date records.
- Support with file preparation for submissions and client consultations.
- Assist with billing invoices and organizing disbursements.
Qualifications
- Paralegal Diploma or Certificate from a recognized institution (or equivalent relevant experience).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in immigration law (asset but not required).
- Familiarity with both temporary residence and permanent residence matters.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Outlook Excel); experience with immigration case management software is an asset.
- Ability to manage multiple files and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation
The expected salary range for this position is $65000 $85000 annually depending on skills experience and job-related knowledge.
