Job Summary
Our client in the mining sector is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant to join their team. This role requires strong technical accounting expertise sound labour knowledge and proven experience working with Pastel and Belina. The successful candidate will play a key role in financial management compliance and reporting while providing strategic support to the GM and MD.

Main Responsibilities:
- Manage all financial accounting reporting and compliance functions.
- Oversee payroll administration and ensure accuracy using Belina.
- Maintain and reconcile financial systems in Pastel.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and provide guidance on HR and payroll-related issues.
- Prepare budgets forecasts and management reports.
- Support the GM and MD with strategic decision-making and financial analysis.
- Liaise with auditors regulatory bodies and stakeholders as required.
- Monitor internal controls and implement process improvements.

- Strong understanding of labour law and payroll processes.
- Proficiency in Pastel and Belina.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced mining environment.
Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant (CA).
- At least 5 years post-articles experience preferably in the mining sector.
- Strong exposure to payroll systems and labour law.
- Previous experience reporting at senior management level.
