Job Summary
Introduction
As the leading medical recruitment agency in South Africa our client has an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist (Addiction and Psychiatric) to be based in Kenilworth Cape Town.
The Client

With a holistic and multi-disciplinary approach they are dedicated to supporting recovery and fostering healthier sustainable lifestyles for their patients.
The Opportunity
This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact by delivering expert treatment and therapeutic interventions. You will work closely with patients and their families providing both individual and group therapy while collaborating within a supportive multi-disciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate group sessions within the therapeutic programme
Conduct individual therapy sessions with patients
Lead conjoint sessions with patients families
Participate in group activities to understand and support the programme
Complete assessments of patients
Carry out administrative duties and maintain accurate records
Produce professional reports as required
Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary treatment team
Requirements
Degree in Occupational Therapy with valid HPCSA registration
Current Malpractice Insurance
Experience in addiction and/or psychiatric settings
Knowledge of evidence-based interventions
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Computer literacy
