Job Description

HR Manager Hospitality Sector - POS25234

Based: Rustenburg

Salary: R14 R16 million

Our client is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead the Human Resources function across a diverse and dynamic hospitality environment. This role requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in managing HR operations at a senior level specifically within the resort and hospitality industry. The successful candidate will drive transformation align people strategy with business goals and foster a culture of excellence and high performance.

Requirements

  • Human Resource Management Degree (essential).
  • 1015 years HR experience including 4 years in a Resort/ Hospitality HR Manager role.
  • Demonstrated team leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Functional knowledge across all HR disciplines: recruitment L&D performance management talent management workforce planning.
  • Advanced knowledge and practical application of:
    • Labour Relations Act (LRA)
    • Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA)
    • Skills Development Act
    • Employment Equity Act
  • Strong expertise in employee relations and performance consulting.
  • Proven financial and business acumen to contribute to strategic decision-making.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems such as PeopleSoft and Kronos.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the HR function across the resort ensuring alignment with overall business strategy.
  • Drive workforce planning organizational development and change management initiatives.
  • Oversee recruitment selection and onboarding processes to attract and retain top talent.
  • Design and implement Learning & Development strategies to build capability and enhance employee growth.
  • Manage performance management systems to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Partner with leadership on talent management and succession planning.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies procedures and all relevant labour legislation.
  • Manage employee relations processes providing guidance on conflict resolution grievance and disciplinary procedures.
  • Monitor and report on HR metrics ensuring effective use of HR systems and data analytics (e.g. PeopleSoft Kronos).
  • Manage HR budget and contribute to broader business planning with strong financial acumen.
