Graduate (Procurement)
The Role
Were a ground-breaking collaboration between eight leading organisations Anglian Water Balfour Beatty Barhale Binnies MMB MWH Treatment Skanska and SWECO and we deliver over half of Anglian Waters capital investment programme.
We are seeking a Graduate Procurement Officer to join our growing Commercial & Supply Chain team. This is a fantastic opportunity to launch your procurement career in a future-focused industry working on high-impact projects including water infrastructure sustainability and innovation in supply chain strategy.
As a key member of our early careers programme youll gain hands-on experience across procurement operations supplier engagement tendering processes and contract management all while receiving tailored support and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end procurement activities across various categories (construction engineering consultancy services)
- Conduct supplier research and market analysis to inform sourcing decisions
- Assist in preparing tender documents evaluating bids and managing contract awards
- Collaborate with project teams legal and finance to ensure compliance and value delivery
- Contribute to our sustainability local sourcing and innovation objectives
- Maintain procurement records and support performance reporting
Essential:
- A recent graduate in a relevant field (e.g. Business Supply Chain Engineering Sustainability Economics)
- Strong interest in procurement supply chain or commercial roles
Excellent communication and analytical skills - Organised proactive and a team player
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable working with data
Desirable:
- Full UK driving licence (or working towards it)
