Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated Locum MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in this role you will play a crucial part in providing temporary medical services to healthcare facilities in need. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of various medical procedures and surgeries making a significant impact on patient care and outcomes. As a Locum Anesthesiologist you will have the opportunity to work on diverse assignments gaining valuable experience in different clinical settings.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer anesthesia during medical procedures and surgeries.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed.
  • Collaborate with surgeons physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety.
  • Provide post-anesthesia care and monitor patients in the recovery room.
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Adhere to all relevant medical protocols guidelines and regulations.
  • Stay updated on advancements in anesthesiology and incorporate best practices into daily work.

Requirements:

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology.
  • Valid state medical license and DEA registration.
  • Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques medications and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Flexibility to adapt to different healthcare settings and schedules.

Schedule: 2-3 procedure days and 2-3 clinic days per week

Rotating beeper call shifts

Setting: Outpatient

Daily Volume: 16 procedures or 22 clinic visits

Support staff available

Paid travel & expenses
