Description
We are currently seeking a skilled Locum MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in this role you will play a crucial part in providing temporary medical services to healthcare facilities. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring the smooth operation of various medical procedures and surgeries making a significant impact on patient care and outcomes. As a Locum MD or DO in Anesthesiology you will be involved in diverse medical projects working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care.
Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia during medical procedures and surgeries.
- Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed.
- Collaborate with surgeons nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety.
- Provide post-anesthesia care and monitor patients in the recovery room.
- Manage and document patient medical records accurately.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements and best practices in Anesthesiology.
- Adhere to all relevant medical protocols guidelines and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding anesthesia procedures and post-operative care.
Requirements:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Anesthesiology.
- Valid state medical license to practice as a physician.
- Proven experience working as an Anesthesiologist in a clinical setting.
- Excellent knowledge of anesthesia techniques medications and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:30a-5p
No call or weekends

Case Types: OB neurosurgical/spinal complex vascular complex orthopedic vent management central and arterial line insertion
Will supervise 3 CRNAs
