We are currently seeking a skilled Locum MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Obstetrics and this role you will play a crucial part in providing temporary medical services to our clients ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction. You will be involved in a variety of projects working closely with healthcare facilities to meet their staffing needs efficiently and effectively.
As a Locum MD or DO in Ob/Gyn your role is vital in maintaining the continuity of care for patients supporting healthcare facilities during staff shortages.. Responsibilities:
- Provide temporary medical services in Obstetrics and Gynecology to healthcare facilities.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments examinations and consultations.
- Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans for patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
- Adhere to all relevant medical protocols guidelines and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with patients families and colleagues.
- Participate in continuous education and training to enhance medical knowledge and skills.
Requirements:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Valid state medical license and DEA registration.
- Proven experience working as a Locum Tenens physician in Ob/Gyn.
- Excellent clinical skills and ability to make sound medical decisions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to different healthcare settings and work independently.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and service.
Schedule: 8-hour shifts 3-5 days per week
Call shifts available
Level II nursery
Daily Volume: 22-25 patients in clinic
Delivery Volume: 850 per year 70-80 per month
Required Procedures: Colposcopies biopsies LEEP
Support Staff: MA LPN RNs CNM scrub tech and ancillary staff
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
