We are currently seeking a skilled Locum MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in this role you will play a crucial part in providing temporary medical services to our clients in Keene. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring the well-being of patients and the success of various cardiology projects.
As a Locum MD or DO in Cardiology you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of cardiology cases from routine check-ups to complex procedures. This role offers a dynamic work environment where you can showcase your medical skills and make a difference in the lives of many.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient consultations and examinations.
- Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans for cardiology patients.
- Perform diagnostic tests and procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in cardiology practices and treatments.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding cardiac health.
- Adhere to all relevant medical standards regulations and ethical practices.
Requirements:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Cardiology.
- Valid state medical license in Keene.
- Proven experience working as a Cardiologist.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p
Call: 1:3-4 weeknight rotation and 1 weekend per month
Setting: Inpatient and outpatient
Daily Volume: 14-16 patients
Will read echocardiograms & ECGs
Ability to perform TEEs and cardioversions is required
Support Staff: APPs & RNs
EMR: Epic
Board certification required
Paid travel & expenses
