Technical Sales Specialist (Full Time) - Montreal QC

Major Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive technical audits of clients work processes using analytical tools an in depth understanding of their process and how Lindes gases and equipment can improve their productivity
  • Formalize and present productivity solutions and value-added alternatives to clients
  • Technical Support for Territory Managers customers vendors and our Tonawanda Metal Fabrication R&D Centre
  • Oversee manage and troubleshoot automation/robotic implementation at customer sites
  • Facilitate training seminars as well as hands on training & demonstrations on welding and cutting equipment
  • Attend vendor training as required (some training required in the USA)
  • Travel and hotel stays as required (approximately 25%)
  • Responsible for gross profit improvement and securing new business
  • Supports marketing plans promotions and new product launches
  • Conducts competitive intelligence
  • Must be bilingual (French/English)

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduated from a Welding Engineering 2 or 3 year Technology Program
  • Level II Welding Inspector- preferred
  • Journeyman Welder Certificate- preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years in sales (technical sales would be an asset)
  • Proficient with MS Office suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook)
  • Experience with CRM ideally Microsoft Dynamics
  • Industrial gas experience is preferred
  • Oil & gas industry experience is a plus
  • Must possess a valid drivers license
