About this role

Were seeking a payments-specialized current or former engineer to lead product management for core payments infrastructure. This is a high-impact role overseeing integrations compliance monetization and user-facing payment features that directly support a global marketplace processing billions in transactions annually.

What youll do

Collaborate with payment service providers (PSPs) on integrations compliance risk management and documentation.
Partner with Sales and Finance teams to refine cost structures revenue streams and monetization of payment products.
Work with Legal on compliance items including KYC AML checks OFAC chargebacks and reporting.
Coordinate with Design Growth and Product teams to understand user needs and deliver payments-related features.
Drive execution on both existing challenges and new initiatives such as:
Fraud and risk mitigation strategies.
Planning and executing an upcoming Treasury product launch.

Backend: Ruby on Rails monolith GraphQL JSON API
Database: MySQL relational database
Frontend: web app powering checkout
Payment processing: Stripe Adyen Sezzle Splitit Coinbase Commerce PayPal
Payouts: MassPay
Risk/Fraud/KYC: Sardine Veriff

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $200K
Equity: $800K at todays valuation
Visa sponsorship: Not available
On-site policy: 5 days per week in Brooklyn NY office (strong preference); exceptional candidates in Palo Alto considered.
