Overview

With the extremely successful launch of Vyndaqel/Vyndamax for the treatment of patients with transthyretin amyloid cardiomyopathy (ATTR-CM) Pfizer cemented its position as a global leader in the field of cardiac is a priority brand for US Commercial and the Specialty Care BU. Midway through its life cycle Vyndamax now faces two competitors one approved in November 2024 and the other in March 2025.

The Vyndamax HCP Senior Manager will be a critical member of the HCP marketing team focusing on competitive strategy and field force promotion to maintain Vyndamaxs position as the market leader in cardiac amyloidosis. This is an exciting opportunity for an agile competitive data-loving individual to develop key marketing tactics for a Pfizer priority brand. The HCP Marketing Senior Manager will work closely with cross-functional partners to translate scientific data customer insights and competitive intelligence into innovative tactics.

This role will report to the Vyndamax HCP Competitive and Field Force Lead.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop field-facing marketing materials with a focus on Vyndamaxs leadership position as first-line therapy and maintaining the continuing base of Vyndamax patients
  • Leverage market research and analytics to inform tactics ensuring decisions are grounded in actionable insights
  • Monitor competitor data and promotional materials identifying opportunities for new Vyndamax messaging customer-facing colleague talking points or educational sessions
  • Partner with the sales team to gather feedback and implement recommendations. Participate in competitive field-based strategy team.
  • Develop analytical tools as needed to monitor the competitive environment.
  • Support national and regional sales meetings
  • Foster a collaborative agency partnership and oversee project timelines
  • Exhibit agility in navigating unknowns and executing under demanding timelines in a fast-paced competitive setting
  • Maintain a patient-centered approach to all marketing strategies and tactics ensuring alignment with Pfizers commitment to improving patients lives

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 6 years of experience in the pharmaceutical healthcare or strategic consulting industries.
  • Previous experience in US marketing. Previous experience in cardiology preferred.
  • Strong business acumen with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven track record of operating in a fast-paced high-energy environment with ability to adapt to change and execute effectively under demanding timelines.
  • Effective listening and communication skills gathers input from key stakeholders and gains alignment.
  • Ability to navigate internal organization/processes.
  • Adaptable and flexible with work; ability to work with multiple teams at the same time.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with demonstrated ability to turn insights into actionable strategies.
  • Comfort with scientific data and the ability to engage deeply with technical details.
  • Experience interfacing/collaborating with Regulatory Medical Legal and other functions

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $120800.00 to $201400.00. In addition this position is eligible for participation in Pfizers Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
