The International Mission Board a nonprofit religious organization in Richmond VA is in search for a US Benefits Analyst!
Location:Richmond VA Headquarters
Rate:Commensurate with experience great benefits!
The US Benefits Analyst administers employee and retiree benefit programs ensuring accurate enrollment compliance and ongoing support for staff. This role manages payroll processes related to benefits oversees claims and leave administration and serves as a key liaison with vendors and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain knowledge of all benefit programs including medical dental vision voluntary life insurance and disability benefits to provide support to employees who need assistance.
- Assist with new hire orientations by meeting new hires schedule meetings with enrollment specialists and provide assistance with enrollment when needed.
- Process and track FMLA short-term disability ADA accommodation workers compensation life insurance and medical claims. Ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
- Conduct bi-weekly payroll audits and ensure accurate benefit deductions and leave processing in Workday.
- Perform system testing for updates troubleshoot errors and collaborate on process improvements.
- Present to U.S. employees on various benefit issues including open enrollment and wellness programs.
- Audit and pay benefit vendor invoices coordinate enrollment file submissions with vendors.
Requirements:
- Associates degree preferred
- At least three years of administrative support or related experience
- Interest in learning benefits administration information and procedures
- Ability to interact effectively with internal employees regarding benefit questions and inquiries.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbal and written
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with other relevant software tool
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and care
