PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (when up to speed)
- Manage the receiving stocking and organization of all office furniture hardware components in the stockroom.
- Fulfill internal parts requests by accurately pulling preparing and distributing hardware to the production team to meet manufacturing schedules.
- Verify the accuracy of hardware specifications on production work orders and Bills of Materials (BOM) to prevent errors and delays.
- Monitor inventory levels perform regular cycle counts and maintain precise records in the inventory management system.
- Coordinate with the purchasing department to place purchase orders to ensure a timely supply of materials preventing stock shortages.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for hardware collaborating with production design and purchasing teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Previous experience within office furniture manufacturing and / or inventory coordination
- Energetic and enthusiastic attitude thriving in a collaborative team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Works with a high degree of organization and attention to detail.
- Communicates effectively in English both in writing and verbally.
