Key Responsibilities & Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be a specialist educator with a degree in Health and Social Care Nursing or a related field holding QTS and having proven success teaching vocational qualifications.

In this full-time role you will:

• Instruction & Attainment: Deliver high-quality engaging lessons in Health and Social Care to students studying vocational routes at Key Stage 4 (GCSE/Vocational) and Key Stage 5 (A-Level/BTEC).
• Curriculum Expertise: Confidently teach core content including human development communication health promotion and the ethical/legal frameworks of the sector.
• Vocational Guidance: Guide students thoroughly through coursework practical skills development and external examination preparation for relevant BTEC/Cambridge Technical qualifications.
• Ethical Integration: Model and integrate the schools Christian values of compassion respect and service into lessons linking theoretical knowledge to professional care standards.
• Collaboration: Contribute actively to the wider faculty assisting with any relevant community service projects or work experience opportunities.
