The Role
The Visual Merchandise Regional Manager is responsible for developing and executing visual merchandising strategies that align with the brands identity and global framework. This role ensures that store layouts product displays and visual presentations attract engage and inspire customers ultimately driving sales and enhancing the overall shopping experience. The Visual Merchandise Regional Manager collaborates closely with marketing Merchandise and store retail operations teams to implement cohesive visual standards across all retail locations optimize product placement and analyze the effectiveness of visual campaigns. Key responsibilities include trend analysis strategic planning team leadership and continuous improvement of in-store aesthetics to support brand growth.
Develop and implement visual merchandising strategies to enhance brand presence and drive sales across multiple locations including Africa stores.
Lead and train field visual merchandising teams ensuring adherence to brand standards and effective execution of merchandising strategies.
Work closely with marketing merchandising and retail store operations teams to align visual merchandising initiatives with business objectives.
Monitor and analyze sales data to assess the effectiveness of visual displays and identify opportunities for improvement.
Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to ensure the brand remains competitive and relevant.
Conduct regular store visits to evaluate visual merchandising standards provide feedback and identify areas for improvement.
Oversee the visual merchandising budget ensuring cost-effective use of resources while maintaining quality and impact.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment and buy-in for visual merchandising initiatives.
A minimum of 4 years experience in visual merchandising with a strong background in retail.
Proven leadership and team management skills across multiple regions.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and translate into actionable strategies.
Experience working with cross-functional teams including regional leadership.
Strategic thinker with a strong commercial mindset and customer first philosophy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High resilience and adaptability in fast paced change driven environments.
Strong planning decision making and problem solving capabilities.
Tertiary qualifications in Visual Merchandising Fashion or a related field (preferred).
Advanced proficiency in Illustrator Photoshop and Microsoft Office for visual presentations and communication.
A valid drivers license and ability to travel as required for the role
Strong knowledge of retail merchandising practices including the ability to execute VM directives and deliver world-class visual merchandising standards.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings weekends and holidays as required to meet business needs.
Excellent interpersonal communication problem-solving and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. Buying Supply Chain Marketing) to align visual merchandising strategies with business objectives.
Proven track record in managing leading and inspiring diverse teams to meet and exceed visual and operational goals.
