Stock Controller Philippi Cape Town Market Related
A well-established foodservice operation is currently seeking an experienced Stock Controller to join their team based in Philippi. This role reports directly to the Foodservice Shift Manager and plays a key role in ensuring accurate efficient stock control within a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Day-to-day stock control and inventory management
- Cycle counts stock audits and variance investigations
- Coordinating stock movements and ensuring correct storage procedures
- Supporting the Shift Manager with stock-related reporting and administration
- Ensuring food safety quality standards and housekeeping compliance
Requirements:
- Minimum Grade 12 qualification
- 35 years experience in stock control within a warehouse environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Computer literate (Excel Word; WMS/ERP experience advantageous)
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Willingness to work shifts and occasional overtime
