Job Summary
Accounts Receivable Specialist
As an Accounts Receivable Specialist at Restaurant Technologies you will be responsible forcreating and maintaining accurate customer accounts ensuring payment terms are appropriate payments are applied accurately to customer invoices and monies are received timely. Your strong 2-4 years of Accounts Receivable experience combined with sharp problem-solving and collaboration skills will be essential in resolving account issues. Your ability to adapt to change will position you for success in our evolving tech environment.
Location and Travel:
This is a fully remote position available anywhere in the continental U.S. with no travel required. Candidates in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area are encouraged to train onsite and may choose to work onsite as much or as little as they prefer.
Compensation:
The base salary for this position ranges from $23-29 per hour accompanied by an up to 10% annual incentive opportunity. Please note that the exact salary will depend on factors such as geographic location market conditions and the candidates experience
Responsibilities:
- Understanding of Bank processes for Lockbox/ACH/EFT transactions for customer payment application
- Update customer accounts for cash application and invoicing
- Assist with account reconciliations for customer request
- Complete account reconciliations and generate regular Accounts Receivable reports
- Ensure bank lockbox files are uploaded into the companys ERP system
- Research lockbox posting exceptions and unapplied cash manually apply payments to invoices if necessary
- Process and submit customer credit memos
- Report daily on cash and receivables issues
- Assist with customer ownership changes
- Communicate with internal and external customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Other specific duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- AR Specialist: 2-4 years experience in accounting or related field
- B2B Collections process experience
- Intermediate understanding of accounts receivable principles and procedures
- Experience with customer accounts and reconciliations
- Understanding of banking and cash handling
- Proficiency in MS Office specifically Excel
- Teamwork works collaboratively as part of a team
- Communication effectively communicates with our business partners across the organization along with our external customers
- Customer Service manages customer situations and responds promptly and consistently to customer needs
- Organization and Time Management handles multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail
- Detail-oriented focuses on data for accuracy
- Problem-solving reviews multiple sources of information collects data and uses intuition and experience to resolve issues for internal and external customers
- Motivation sets and achieves goals; demonstrates persistence and overcomes obstacles; measures self against standard of excellence
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in accounting or business
- Working knowledge of Oracle Fusion preferred
