About the opportunity
Join the team at Gold Coast Private Hospital as a Registered Nurse! Were looking for experienced professionals to bring their skills to our medical ward (Ward 1) on a casual basis. You will play a key role within a supportive team ensuring exceptional patient care is being delivered.

Established in 2016 Gold Coast Private Hospital is a state-of-the-art 339-bed facility located in the heart of the Gold Coast Precinct in Southport.
With 22 operating theatres Gold Coast Private Hospital offers a wide range of specialties including but not limited to 24/7 Emergency Care Medical Services Orthopaedics Bariatrics Neurosurgery Plastic Surgery ENT (Ear Nose and Throat) General Surgery Obstetrics Cardiac Care and Oncology.

As a Registered Nurse your responsibilities will include:
- Provide safe evidence-based nursing care
- Supervise and guide nursing team members
- Educate and support patients in recovery rehabilitation and end-of-life care
- Lead quality improvement and safety initiatives
- Collaborate with the healthcare team for optimal patient care
- Serve as a role model for safe practices
Essential Criteria:
Authority to Work in Australia
Minimum 12 months experience as an RN
Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care
Self-motivated team player
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

If you are successful you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the Healthscope - Queensland - Nurses Enterprise Agreement2021 - 2025 (salaries range between $41.49 and $52.97 per hour superannuation)
