Key Responsibilities
As a Content Moderator your main goal is to protect users from harmful or inappropriate content. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing Content: You will analyze and moderate user-generated content including videos images and comments to ensure compliance with our platforms policies.
- Enforcing Guidelines: You will apply your knowledge of our policies to make swift and accurate decisions on whether content should be removed restricted or approved.
- Identifying Trends: You will identify and escalate new content trends or policy violations to management helping to improve our safety measures.
- Collaborating with Team: You will work closely with a diverse team of moderators and quality assurance specialists to ensure consistency and quality in your work.
- Staying Up-to-Date: You will participate in ongoing training to keep your knowledge of our evolving policies current.
What Were Looking For
We are seeking a candidate who is detail-oriented emotionally resilient and committed to protecting online communities.
Essential Qualifications:
- Language Skills: You must have an advanced level of German (B2/C1 or higher) and a conversational level of English (B2 or higher).
- Adaptability: The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle a high volume of content reviews daily.
- Emotional Resilience: The capacity to handle exposure to sensitive and graphic content while maintaining professionalism.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills to make quick informed decisions.
- Teamwork: A collaborative spirit and a positive attitude.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work in shifts including nights and weekends as a 24/7 moderation service is required.
Experience:
While prior experience in content moderation customer support or a similar field is a plus it is not mandatory. We are ready to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong passion for the role.
