Job Summary

Role Description

Deliver projects on-time within defined scope and on budget.
Develop and maintain project schedules set milestones review progress periodically and adjust plans as required to ensure achievement of all deliverables.
Manage relationships with clients and all stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of projects.
Track project performance using appropriate tools metrics and techniques.
Act as a liaison between senior management and project teams; facilitate clear two-way communication.
Identify risks to project timelines or deliverables; take proactive action to mitigate issues and escalate to leadership when needed.
Foster team collaboration create and communicate a vision for projects to inspire and motivate team members.
Contribute to and meet divisional goals and KPIs.
Ensure the project team is well-informed about business processes and domain knowledge.
Support efficient problem resolution by analyzing root causes and applying problem-solving techniques; promote continuous improvement.
Provide input into process improvements and ensure alignment of team members to established processes.
Apply agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum Kanban) appropriately taking into account various project variables to achieve desired outcomes.
Partner with Business Analysts or Product Owners to identify priorities (short medium long term) that deliver value to end users.
Organize and lead dependency meetings to manage inter-team dependencies and ensure tasks are completed in the correct order.
Lead agile practices: facilitate iteration planning daily stand-ups/scrums demos and retrospectives.

Requirements / Qualifications

Demonstrated experience managing medium to large-scale IT projects.
Strong theoretical and practical understanding of project management methodologies.
Knowledge of agile project management techniques and relevant tools.
Solid technical background; familiarity or hands-on experience with software development and web technologies.
Understanding of how operational decisions impact financial outcomes.
6-8 years experience in project management managing multiple teams.
Experience in people management risk management and handling change.
Preferable: At least 1 year of experience in software development quality engineering or business analysis.
