Job Description
As our customer base continues to grow across Australia Liebherr Maritime Cargo & Construction Division is
seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to join our team. Reporting to the Technical Manager this role involves servicing and maintaining a diverse range of cranes including Maritime Cranes including harbour mobile and gantry cranes with occasional work Crawler Cranes and drilling and piling equipment.
This hands-on role can be based in Adelaide Melbourne or Perth with travel throughout Australia as required. Were looking for a proactive and driven individual who is passionate about promoting the Liebherr brand committed to delivering best-in-class service and eager to travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Major and minor service
- Diagnostics and troubleshooting of Mechanical Hydraulic and Electrical systems
- Inspect and test electrical and instrumentation systems and components
- Routine maintenance repairs and component replacements
- Expand and maintain customer relationships in the field
- Complete service reporting and manufacturers documentation
- Adhere to safety guidelines in the workplace
About you
- Trade qualified in Auto Electrical or Diesel / Mobile Plant Mechanic or equivalent with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Flexibility to travel to customer sites and work over-time as required
- Capable of working independently in the field problem solving in various situations.
- Crane industry experience desirable although not a requirement
- Ability to fault find and rectify hydraulic mechanical and electrical issues
- A current drivers license
