Ballard Truck Center inHermon MEis currently hiring forParts Counter Representative 1062B. The hours for this position are 10am - 7pm.
Responsibilities and Duties
Parts Counter Representative Responsibilities Include:
- Assist walk-in customers in selecting required parts suggest companion requirements offer specials and ensure that the customer is exposed to the full product line.
- Pull purchased parts from stock
- If the part is not in stock determine availability and submit an emergency order if requested by the customer.
- Answer phone calls in a timely manner providing price quotes and other information.
- Assist outside sales representatives with their orders.
- Set up orders for daily shipment delivery or pick-up.
- Notify customer re: ordered parts promptly restock returns cores.
- Be friendly professional and efficient when working with all customers both on the phone and in person
Qualifications and Skills
Parts Counter Representative Job Requirements:
- Must have prior relevant experience
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Must have at least basic computer skills
- Professional personal appearance.
- Ability to work well with the public sometimes with several customers at a time.
- Ability to work both individually and as a team
- Must be able to lift 50lbs or more
- Will be required to wear a dealership provided uniform.
