Description

The Communication and Publishing Department (CPD) is seeking to appoint a Project Manager for the Pacific Area Office based in Takapuna Auckland. This is a permanent full-time position reporting to the Area CPD Director.

The Project Manager will play a crucial role in localizing adapting and spreading the message of the restored Church of Jesus Christ in the Pacific Area and around the world. The team is dedicated to creating engaging unified messaging that reaches and inspires people globally across platforms including print digital web social media mobile and video in multiple languages. We are constantly seeking innovative ways to bring the world unto Christ.

This position requires a creative project manager with broad experience ingraphic design branding storytelling and media production. The successful candidate will combine strong project management skills with hands-on creative expertise supporting fellow creatives in delivering high-quality outcomes. While the primary focus will be ondesign branding print and digital media the role also requires the flexibility to contribute across film broadcast and other creative disciplines as projects demand.



Responsibilities
  • Provide creative and production support for local and HQ projects across print digital social video and broadcast channels
  • Plan and lead assignments often involving major campaigns or multiple projects simultaneously
  • Contribute to the creative direction of projects helping ensure alignment with brand standards cultural sensitivity and organizational priorities
  • Manage resources required for production including equipment materials and personnel; negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers as needed
  • Support and collaborate with team members and contractors offering feedback and creative input to strengthen project outcomes
  • Act as a liaison with other departments divisions and stakeholders
  • Evaluate progress and results recommending improvements in procedures as needed
  • Operate with considerable latitude for unreviewed action or decision-making


Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience (design communications media or related field). PMP Certification desirable.
  • 8 years of professional experience in creative industries (graphic design branding digital/print media or related areas) combined with strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across multiple creative disciplines ideally with exposure to film and broadcast as well as print/digital media.
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to balance timelines priorities and quality outcomes.
  • Proficiency with industry tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to support encourage and strengthen the work of fellow creatives.
  • Commitment to exceptional service cultural awareness and customer care.
