You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Student and Academic Services Department (SASD) is a dedicated team committed to delivering comprehensive support across the entire student life cyclefrom admission and matriculation to graduation and beyond the classroom. SASD works collaboratively with schools colleges and autonomous institutes to ensure a seamless and enriching academic journey for all students.
This position sits with the Office of Admissions which is one of the functions within SASD. The Office of Admissions plays a key role in supporting admissions for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. This position also contributes to broader initiatives aimed at enhancing the student experience ensuring that every interactionfrom inquiry to enrollmentis welcoming efficient and student-centered.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Collaborate and work closely with all stakeholders to achieve programme admission goals fostering a collaborative approach to success.
Supports the application and admissions processes for postgraduate students:
- Verify and analyse applicant information for accuracy relevance and completeness to ensure informed decision-making.
- Database managementmaintain data accuracy and completeness ensuring key stakeholders access to accurate data and information for effective decision making.
Utilise data-driven techniques to contribute to the graduate admission exercise providing insightful data interpretation for stakeholders to make informed decisions.
Support in website content maintenance and updates to support prospects applicants and students with application and enrolment guidance ensuring a seamless and engaging online experience.
Provide comprehensive guidance to prospective students who are keen to study in the University. Support them in their application journey and promote initiatives to enhance applicants experience.
Provide support in the planning and performing of any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Degree in any discipline. Diploma holders with at least 2-4 years of related work experience will also be considered.
Entry-Level candidates are welcome to apply.
Knowledge of MS Office applications with intermediate knowledge in Excel.
Knowledge or experience in using data analytics tools such as Power Pivot Power BI and RPA is an added advantage.
Proactive and adaptable with a strong ability to prioritise and multitask simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Service-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
