Title: Cloud Architect
Mode: Contract
Location: Mississauga ON (Weekly 1 day office - Hybrid)
- The Cloud Architect is responsible for designing and implementing scalable secure and costeffective cloud solutions that align with the organizations business objectives This role involves defining cloud architecture strategies selecting appropriate cloud services and guiding development and operations teams in adopting cloudnative practices The Cloud Architect ensures high availability performance and compliance across cloud environments while driving innovation and modernization through cloud technologies
Duties Responsibilities

Key Results Expectations
- Assist the team in achieving established goals and departmental objectives
- Participate in an environment that emphasizes trust open communication creative thinking and cohesive team effort
- Contribute to roadmap development execution and releases
- Work with other engineering teams to identify and implement infrastructure CICD monitoring
- Identify areas for system improvement and implement changes as part of a continuous improvement program
- Work Experience and Technical Skill Requirements
- Proficiency in AWS services IAM S3 Aurora etc
- Familiarity with Gremlin Kafka and ServiceNow APIs
- Strong scripting skills in Go Python or Bash
- Working knowledge of Crossplane for infrastructure orchestration
- Working knowledge with Knative for serverless workloads on Kubernetes
- Strong experience with Kubernetes Helm ArgoCD and GitOps workflows
- Handson experience with Terraform CICD pipelines and monitoring tools Prometheus Grafana
- Experience with cost observability tools like OpenCost
- Solid understanding of DevSecOps principles RBAC and certificate lifecycle
- Strong scripting skills in Go Python or Bash
- Working knowledge of Crossplane for infrastructure orchestration
- Experience with Knative for serverless workloads on Kubernetes
- Education Requirements
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience
- Technical certifications are preferred with preference to AWS and Kubernetes certifications
