Registered Manager Childrens Home (Ofsted) Up to 54000 p/a
Join a welcoming childrens home as a Registered Manager and make a real difference in the lives of young people. This role offers the chance to lead a passionate team create a nurturing environment and ensure every child receives high-quality care in a safe and supportive setting.
As Registered Manager you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of this Ofsted-registered childrens home. You will ensure the home is a positive stable and caring place where children and young people can thrive while maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements and leading a motivated and skilled team.
What Were Looking For:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young Peoples Services.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a Registered Manager or senior leadership role within a childrens home.
- In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations inspections safeguarding whistleblowing and supervision practices.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to drive for work purposes.
- Proven ability to lead inspire and develop a team in a childrens residential setting.
- Clear enhanced DBS check.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the childrens home in line with Ofsted regulations and guidance.
- Maintain the highest standards of safeguarding welfare and quality of care.
- Lead support and develop staff through supervision training and mentoring.
- Prepare for and manage inspections audits and compliance reviews.
- Foster a warm stable and nurturing environment for children and young people.
- Manage budgets resources and maintain accurate records.
- Build strong partnerships with children families and external professionals.
