Guidehouse is seeking a strong consultant with a background as Functional Analyst specialized experience injustice and court systemsto join ourState and Local Government Practice. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who understands judicial operations and technology and who thrives in translating business needs into functional requirements for modernization and transformation initiatives.
Youll work closely with delivery teams and client stakeholders to document current processes define future-state requirements and support the implementation of solutions such ascase management systemsdigital court platforms and justice reform programs. If you have hands-on experience working withstate and local courts especially in South Carolina and enjoy solving complex operational challenges we encourage you to apply.
What You Will Do
Support consulting engagements focused oncourt modernization and judicial operations.
Conduct stakeholder interviews and discovery sessions with court staff administrators and IT teams.
Document current-state processes and develop future-state workflows aligned with client goals.
Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements for system implementations.
Assist in the design and configuration of case management and justice technology platforms.
Collaborate with project managers developers and testers to ensure solution alignment.
Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) training and change management activities.
Contribute to project documentation including business requirements process maps and training materials.
Maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders and internal teams.
What You Will Need
5 years of experience working directly with court systems(e.g. state courts circuit courts administrative offices of the courts).
Experience gathering and documenting functional requirements for technology projects.
Strong understanding of judicial operations workflows and terminology.
Bachelors degree from an accredited institution.
Proficiency inMicrosoft Word PowerPoint Excel and process mapping tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to travel to client sites and Guidehouse offices primarily within theColumbia SCmarket.
Must reside within50 miles of Columbia SC.
What Would Be Nice To Have
Experience supportingcase management system implementationsor justice technology upgrades.
Familiarity withSouth Carolina court structures and processes.
Masters degree (MPP MPA MBA or equivalent).
Experience with business process redesign stakeholder engagement and change management.
Exposure to Agile or Waterfall project methodologies.
Experience with tools such as JIRA Visio or similar platforms.
