Job Summary

  • 12 Month fixed-term full time contract
  • Drive impactful campaigns that directly shape Australias clean energy future
  • Sydney or Melbourne based role.

The Climate Council is currently looking for a driven Clean Energy Campaigner to join the Climate Councils Momentum Working this role youll design and deliver innovative campaigns to accelerate Australias transition to renewable energy. Youll coordinate tactics across community engagement media digital research policy analysis and political advocacy all aimed at influencing key levels of government and scaling up national clean energy efforts.

As the Clean Energy Campaigner at the Climate Council you will:

  • Have experience in the clean energy or climate sector (campaigning or policy development desirable).
  • Deliver innovative campaign tactics integrating communications government relations research and policy advocacy.
  • Manage campaigns end-to-end: planning coordination stakeholder engagement activity management and evaluation.
  • Create high-quality written content including supporter emails political briefers media talking points and web updates.
  • Maintain strong environmental and political awareness to identify opportunities risks and emerging trends
