Kia Service Technician
Oakes Kia of Olathe Olathe KS
We are looking for a Kia Service Technician to join our growing team at Oakes Kia of Olathe! The right candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and diagnostics. Kia certification is a plus but not required well support you in achieving certification as part of your career development.
This position is based in our brand-new state-of-the-art air-conditioned service facility designed for comfort efficiency and technician growth.

Responsibilities
Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance as assigned on repair orders efficiently and accurately
Diagnose maintain and repair automotive systems including engine transmission steering suspension brakes electrical and air conditioning
Use diagnostic equipment and special tools to test components and systems
Communicate with Service Advisors to ensure customers are informed about needed repairs and timelines
Execute warranty repairs in accordance with Kia and manufacturer guidelines
Maintain a clean safe and organized work environment
Qualifications
2 years of experience as an automotive technician preferred
Kia or ASE Certifications preferred (well help you earn them!)
Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently and maintain a positive team-oriented attitude
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
