Job Summary

The Reconveyance Coordinator is in charge of making sure that deeds of reconveyance are processed and recorded correctly at the end of the mortgage process. This job requires working with other departments outside vendors and county recording offices to make sure that liens are released and property titles are clear. The Coordinator makes sure that all relevant laws and rules are followed keeps accurate records and communicates with stakeholders in a timely manner.

Key Duties:

Check that reconveyance documents are correct and complete before processing them.

Get ready and send reconveyance filings to the county recorders offices in different areas.

Keep an eye on filing statuses and make sure they are recorded and followed up on in a timely manner.

Talk to title companies escrow agents and county clerks to fix problems or delays.

Keep accurate records in both loan servicing systems and internal databases.

Give management and other important people regular updates on the status of the project and reports.

Make sure you follow all federal state and local laws such as RESPA and state-specific recording laws.

Find ways to make the reconveyance process more efficient and cut down on the time it takes to complete tasks.

Help with audits by getting paperwork ready and answering questions about reconveyance.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or GED is required but an associates degree or higher is preferred.

At least one or two years of experience in mortgage servicing title operations or a similar field.

Knowing how to do reconveyance property liens and recording.

Good at organising things and doing more than one thing at once.

Great written and spoken communication skills as well as social skills.

Attention to detail and the ability to solve problems well.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and loan servicing systems like Black Knight MSP and LoanSphere.

Understanding the federal and state rules that apply to reconveyance.

Pay and Benefits:

Hourly Pay Rate: $22 to $30 an hour depending on how much experience you have.
