- Location: Greenacre; however the role holders must be willing to rotate through various FRNSW work locations as required.
About the role:
Fire & Rescue NSW (FRNSW) is offering an exciting opportunity for 3x Administration Trainees to join our Fleet team. This is your chance to gain invaluable experience by carrying out Administrative duties and working effectively and efficiently in the public sector and for the provision of support as directed by the manager.
About you:
As an Administration Trainee with FRNSW you will be expected to:
- Comply with responsibilities relating to the terms of the Training Contract as a Trainee (training attendance and attainment of competencies).
- Complete a qualification of Certificate III Business Administration or Certificate IV Project Management while working in a full-time capacity.
- Undertake all allocated work as part of the on-the-job training supplied by FRNSW.
- Adhere to all Work Health and Safety requirements FRNSW Code of Conduct and to other FRNSW policies and procedures to ensure compliance and safety at work.
- Demonstrate responsible conduct and a positive manner in the work environment to ensure that the organisation is correctly and favourably presented.
- Undertake administrative tasks to support the local Manager and provide project support to the wider team as required.
- Undertake quality customer service by providing accurate and current information when assisting in response to enquiries from customers and clients as well as drafting routine correspondence in an efficient and timely manner.
Essential Requirements
All applicants must:
- Have completed Year 12 or hold the Higher School Certificate or equivalent.
- Comply with the responsibilities relating to the Trainee Training Contract between FRNSW NSW State Training the RTO the Apprenticeship Centre and the individual. This includes the responsibility of completing structured training working full-time and the attainment of Certificate III Business Administration or Certificate IV Project Management.
- Be willing to rotate through the various FRNSW work locations as part of a comprehensive development program. This may require relocation for development opportunities for limited periods of time as directed by the Trainees Manager.
