JOB TITLE: F-16 APG Systems Technician (Hotel Support)
LOCATION: Greenville SC
PAY RATE: $34-38/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

• Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

• Clearance: Secret clearance Not required to start. The supplier will initiate the process at the offer stage.

• Shift: 4/10 1st Shift (5:30 AM 4:00 PM) or 2nd Shift (3:00 PM 1:30 AM)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

• Support new F-16 production delivery.

• Responsible for incoming/outgoing flight operations follow-on maintenance and troubleshooting.

• Launch recovery preflight thru-flight and post-flight inspections

• Ground handling maintenance engine runs operational checkouts and servicing

• Troubleshooting installation repair and maintenance of electro-mechanical and pneumatic systems

• Ensuring proper function of electrical hydraulic propulsion landing gear flight controls and crew escape systems

• Panel removal and hardware access for repairs

Requirements:

• Secret clearance Not required to start. The supplier will initiate the process at the offer stage.

• High School Diploma or GED

• Minimum 5 years F-16 or related fighter flightline experience

• Knowledge of aircraft systems including:

  • Landing gear

  • Powerplants

  • Flight controls

  • Fuel/defuel operations

  • Aircraft movement launch & recovery

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Skills:

• Aircraft Crew Chief/Mechanic experience (6 years)

• Aircraft launch and recovery experience

• Fighter aircraft experience (F-16 F-18 F-22 F-35)
