The Assistant Cafe Manager is responsible for delivering exceptional experiences at our public facing cafe restaurant. With a focus on innovative hospitality you will create the experience for our Food program in order to support operational excellence. Reporting to the Cafe Manager youll leverage your strong hospitality and operational skills to partner with key stakeholders across the account to deliver the best food service experience to our partners and guests. Manage workplace and food safety including allergen management Set an expectation of hospitality that is friendly and that truly engages our guests Upskill train and develop your team Monitor and manage all financial & budget responsibilities whilst making sure our standards are always the best Process cash draws credit card recipes and daily deposits Meets all timelines for payroll service accounts receivables human resources corporate office and all other timelines given by Client and management Create a culture of Food and Workplace Safety & ensure that all operations meet the highest standards Attends monthly safety meetings and participates in safety inspections. Operate Web based ordering systems process customer requests changes to orders menu updates and client profiles Ability to drive and enhance a culture of Food and Workplace Safety Bachelors degree preferred not required Minimum of 2- 4 years restaurant cafe retail hotel or stadium management experience required Excellent communication skills - written & verbal Operational culinary knowledge P&L cash handling inventory & labor management knowledge Proficient in computer and technical skills working knowledge of Google Suite tools Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint Experience Managing in a Union Environment is a plus ServSafe Certification Associates at Bon Appétit are offered many fantastic benefits.
