Job Summary
What you will do
This role entails regular reporting and reviewing of projects with stakeholders to ensure everything is on track. A key responsibility will be reviewing engineering drawings (wrt PID/GAD/3D/Isometrics/Instrumentation and cabling schedule etc.) for manufacturability considering the available resources and taking action based on the findings.
How you will do it
The candidate should coordinate with engineering for drawing clarification and suggest improvements.
Fabrication and welding knowledge is essential as well as resource planning for project execution and creating and managing project schedules.
Coordination with SCM/Warehouse for timely material availability on the shop floor as per the plan is another critical task.
Additionally the role requires coordination with QC to address daily quality issues working with project teams for smooth execution and conducting root cause analysis of rework/rejection on the shop floor.
The Project Manager should initiate corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
What we look for
We are looking for individuals with 5-8 years of experience in project management and/or manufacturing operations.
Strong communication people management and problem-solving skills are required.
Knowledge of ISO9001:2008 ASME TEMA etc standards is necessary and familiarity with Industrial refrigeration packages manufacturing is an added advantage.
