The opportunity

As a Business Development Administrator at EY you will play a crucial role in supporting the business development team by coordinating various administrative tasks managing client relationships and assisting in the execution of business development strategies. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will contribute to the growth and success of our firm.

Your key responsibilities

Administrative Support:

  • Provide administrative assistance to the business development team including scheduling meetings managing calendars and preparing reports.
  • Maintain and update databases and CRM systems to ensure accurate tracking of client interactions and business development activities.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Assist in managing client relationships by coordinating communications follow-ups and feedback collection.
  • Support the preparation of client proposals presentations and marketing materials.

Event Coordination:

  • Assist in planning and organizing business development events webinars and networking opportunities.
  • Coordinate logistics including venue selection catering and attendee communication.

Collaboration and Team Support:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing finance and operations to support business development initiatives.
  • Contribute to team meetings and brainstorming sessions sharing ideas and best practices.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Proven experience in an administrative or support role preferably in a business development or sales environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong drive to excel professionally and to guide and motivate others
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
  • Well-organized with high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously.
  • Dedicated innovative resourceful analytical and able to work under pressure
  • Foster an efficient innovative and team-oriented work environment

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Recognised university degree in Business Administration/Marketing or equivalent
  • At least 2-5 years of work experience in a related field
  • Willing to be based at EY Office in Penang.
