About You
This is your opportunity to shape the future of the transport realm mobility and community wellbeing! As a passionate strategic executive leader youll bring a proven track record in planning policy design and program delivery.
Experienced in leading a team of subject matter experts youll enable the creation of walkable cycle-friendly precincts that foster social connection economic vitality and enhanced quality of life for communities. Your expertise in designing and activating public spaces and enhancing local destinations will help bring neighbourhoods to life.
Collaborating closely with other government agencies councils and community groups youll oversee the award of grants rollout of toolkits and other resources that develop partner capacity to activate public spaces and advocate for their unique transport needs.
Drawing on your strategic acumen youll provide trusted advice to senior executives Ministers and policymakers ensuring active transport urban design place-making and vibrancy considerations are seamlessly integrated into infrastructure projects.
Youll hold relevant tertiary qualifications and ideally have proven experience in government along with deep knowledge of how to get things done in the public sector.
