As a Lead Financial Analyst you will serve as one of two key finance partners supporting all Neurovascular R&D functions - including New Product Development Clinical PMO and supporting operations. This role is responsible for driving core FP&A activities while also playing a strategic role in evaluating investment decisions and partnering closely with cross-functional stakeholders to influence the future of innovation at Stryker Neurovascular.
What You Will Do
- Act as one of two lead analysts supporting global R&D functions jointly owning end-to-end FP&A responsibilities for $160M in annual spend.
- Lead monthly close activities including journal entries variance analysis and insightful reporting with commentary.
- Collaborate with R&D and Clinical leadership to build annual budgets quarterly forecasts and long-range plans.
- Perform financial modeling and strategic analysis to support decision-making around new product development and clinical trial investments.
- Analyze financial performance and connect results to business activity identify key trends and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Develop and maintain reporting tools for tracking performance and decision-making.
- Prepare high-quality financial presentations and materials for senior leadership.
- Coach advise or train less-experienced financial analysis staff.
- Support accounting activities in collaboration with Finance Centers (COE Costa Rica etc.).
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and corporate policies. Assist in the support of audits and related processes.
- Support Finance Manager with ad hoc analysis reporting requests and strategic decision-making.
- Continuously look for ways to improve and streamline financial processes reporting tools and business support.
What You Need
- Bachelors Degree required.
- 4 years of Finance/Accounting experience.
- Experience with Excel including advanced functions formulas pivots required.
Preferred:
- Experience building PowerBI dashboards preferred.
- CPA/CMA preferred.
$77200- $160800 salary plus bonus eligible benefits. Individual pay is based on skills experience and other relevant factors.
Travel Percentage: 10%
