Description:

Understands business objectives and problems identifies alternative solutions performs studies and cost/benefit analysis of alternatives. Analyzes user requirements procedures and problems to automate processing or to improve existing computer system: Confers with personnel of organizational units involved to analyze current operational procedures identify problems and learn specific input and output requirements such as forms of data input how data is to be; summarized and formats for reports. Writes detailed description of user needs program functions and steps required to develop or modify computer program. Reviews computer system capabilities specifications and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system.

Network Architect to lead the design and implementation of secure scalable and resilient network architectures supporting cloud transformation initiatives for the TEDS project. This role requires deep expertise in hybrid networking strategies ensuring seamless integration between on-premises environments and cloud-native services.

Key Responsibilities

Architect and implement hybrid and multi-cloud connectivity patterns to integrate existing on-prem data center networks with AWS services.

Design secure high-performance network architectures that meet compliance governance and business continuity requirements.

Collaborate with cloud security and infrastructure teams to enable seamless migrations and optimize network operations.

Establish network governance standards and best practices to support long-term growth and evolving enterprise needs.

Ensure routing segmentation and security policies are aligned with enterprise architecture principles.

Drive high availability and disaster recovery strategies for mission-critical workloads.



II. CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Years Required/Preferred Experience
8 Required Extensive experience in network architecture across AWS and on-premises environments.
8 Required Strong knowledge of routing protocols (BGP OSPF) network segmentation and firewall technologies.
8 Required Hands-on experience with hybrid connectivity solutions (VPN Direct Connect Transit Gateway).
8 Required Expertise in network security principles including encryption identity and compliance frameworks.
8 Required Proficiency in high availability design load balancing and failover strategies.
8 Required Familiarity with network automation tools (Terraform Ansible) and CI/CD integration for infrastructure.
8 Preferred Experience with multi-cloud networking (Azure GCP) and cloud-native networking services.
8 Preferred Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and advanced security models.
8 Preferred Exposure to SD-WAN technologies and network observability tools (NetFlow CloudWatch Prometheus).
8 Preferred Understanding of cost optimization strategies for cloud networking.
8 Preferred Certifications such as AWS Advanced Networking Specialty Cisco CCNP/CCIE or Azure Network Engineer Associate.
