Job Summary

Job Title: Service Desk Analyst I
Location: Ann Arbor MI 48103
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Dates: 1/5/2026 1/4/2027

Overview: Serve as the first point of contact for end-user hardware and software issues while delivering efficient customer-focused technical support. This role focuses on troubleshooting clear communication and providing a positive service experience while documenting and resolving IT requests.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer contacts via phone email and voicemail in a timely manner

  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues across supported systems

  • Ask fact-finding questions to accurately diagnose and resolve issues

  • Educate users while assisting with technical requests

  • Document requests issues and resolutions in a ticketing system

  • Maintain a professional and positive customer service approach

Schedule:

  • Standard business hours with availability for rotating on-call/off-hours support

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Estimated hourly rate of $23.00

  • Professional development opportunities

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or higher

  • Minimum of one year of help desk or technical support experience

  • Experience supporting Microsoft Windows environments

  • Experience with Active Directory and Citrix

  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Azure preferred
