Patient Access Representative Multiple shifts

• Hours: Evening shift: 3pm-11:30pm Day shift: 7am-3:30pm. This role is 5 days per week. You must work 1-2 weekends per month. You will get additional shift differential for weekend!

As a Patient Access Representative youll:

• Be responsible for satisfying the patient staff or caller and maintaining the image and integrity of HCMC.

• Provide patients with information on physicians directions to locations required pre-testing educational materials and any other items prior to service.

• Gathernecessary data enterappropriate data into computer-Epic ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and appropriately signed by patient in order to register and admit patient for inpatient or outpatient services.

What youll bring:

• 2 years of experience in medical office hospital medical call center or similar customer service environment

  • EPIC experience highly preferred

  • Knowledge of health insurance concepts preferred

• High school diploma or GED

• Passion for helping others

• Ability to think quickly and problem solve

• Ability to talk and type simultaneously with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Must type at least 35 wpm.

Salary Range: Minimum 17.11/hour - Maximum 28.26/ will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
