Job Overview: The Production Coordinator is responsible for handling the input of job travelers (work orders) allocating material and inventory cycle conjunction with our purchasing engineering and production teams the Production Coordinator will help address any job traveler and material shortage concerns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compare outgoing pack slips against the invoicing/billing and edit accordingly.
- Print purchase orders to match all incoming pack slips.
- Print and ensure the daily inventory cycle counts are approved and entered.
- Review Planning Workbench to adjust timing of job jackets to help maintain timing for the production team.
- Schedule jobs and maintain the statuses of unfirm firm-engineered and released.
- Allocate material and print all production orders.
- Provide printed production orders with supporting documents for the production team.
- Maintain excellent communication with internal teams.
- Acquire comprehensive knowledge of the businesss operational processes and components.

Competencies (Skills & Qualifications):
- Meticulously detail oriented.
- Skilled in managing multiple tasks simultaneously with high accuracy.
- Good working knowledge of Production Coordinator tasks and responsibilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify analyze and resolve issues.
- Focus on solutions prioritize and manage the workload.
- Ability to communicate ideas clearly and directly actively listen and coordinate with others
- Able to work independently self-motivated sets daily goals and manages time effectively.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Manufacturing experience is a plus
- Intermediate level computer skills i.e. Word and Excel.
- Ability to type 35 wpm.
Work Environment:
- At any one of the Value Added Companies (VAC) the environment can be associated with manufacturing office retail and laboratory.
- The manufacturing environment and laboratory requires Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as defined by each facility. PPE could include eye protection face shield gloves masks and closed toed shoes. The manufacturing environment is not always climate controlled and may become warm in the summer and cooler in the winter.
- The office space is climate controlled by the season and location of the facility. This position will require sitting for long periods of time to perform the required duties and frequently speaking with coworkers. The individual will require fine motor skills using hands fingers arms operating office equipment ability to read customer information job tickets and follow screen prompts.
